A moment of stillness

Nature as an escape

I’m an oil painter based in Wymondham, Norfolk, creating work that celebrates the quiet beauty of nature. For me, nature has always been an escape—a way to step away from the chaos and into a world of colour, calm, and possibility.

When I paint, I’m not just recreating a scene; I’m visiting a moment of stillness—a place where the world slows down. I hope each painting becomes a doorway for you too: a small escape, a breath of fresh air, a chance to wander.

A life shaped by creativity and curiosity

Since I was young enough to hold a pencil, I’ve wanted to make a mark. That desire to capture something meaningful still drives me today. I have no formal art education; I’ve developed my skills through years of practice and YouTube tutorials. I hope my work inspires others to follow their own artistic calling.

My creative process is shaped by the things that keep me grounded: spending time in nature, walking my dog, staying active with home workouts, and escaping into fantasy worlds through books and gaming. These interests give me space to recharge, imagine, and stay connected to the things that inspire me.

I enjoy spending time with the people close to me. Those connections, alongside the quieter parts of my life, help shape the way I see the world and the way I paint it. My work reflects this balance: the calm of nature, the spark of imagination, and the steady rhythm of a life shaped by creativity, curiosity, and the things that bring me peace.

My process: each painting is created in oils over an acrylic underpainting.
